Our sixth annual blizzard of only the hottest takes. Check out Part 1 and the highly anticipated sequel, Part 2!

This might be the best one yet, or the worst. It will hopefully give us all a much-needed smile after enduring the single-worst campaign in franchise history. Make sure to get your votes in the polls, and by all means, hit us with your takes and any/all cries for help!

This year, we’ve split the awards out over 3 parts, which should allow for more action in the comments.

The “Meadowlands Massacre” Award — Worst Game

JPN – NYCFC 5 – 0 TFC

AP – Inter Miami 4-0 Toronto FC. Lionel Messi barely played and TFC still got embarrassed.

CB – The Leagues Cup debacle against NYCFC.

AH – 3-0 loss to RBNY – not only did we lose five consecutive games, we were awarded the wooden spoon.

TK – The 2-0 defeat to Columbus, the Crew registered 31 shots and could’ve easily scored about seven or eight goals.

The “Miracle in Montreal” Award — Best Game

JPN – That Philly one. We’ve had only one good game all season. That’s facts. It was also easily Philly’s worst game of the season so there’s that.

AP – The Philly win was good, but it came at a time when the season was already a complete write-off. Give me that 2-2 draw with Atlanta United when Brandon Servania tied it up in stoppage time. Back when there was hope.

CB – Toronto beat the Union 3-1. It’s the first and last time we saw our boy Terry smile after a match.

AH – Our best game was perhaps Philadelphia Union’s worst game.

TK – The 1-0 victory over NYCFC in late April – one of the only complete performances from the club this season.

The Tom Anselmi Award — Best Front Office Achievement

JPN – Freezing Season Ticket prices because if they didn’t…

AP – Still managing to draw 25,000 to BMO.

CB – Somebody took Ayo Akinola on loan? Jason Hernandez got someone in San Jose to do him a solid.

AH – That Brandon Servania for Jesús Jiménez swap. We desperately needed more depth in the midfield.

TK – Signing Alonso Coello and Kobe Franklin to first team deals.

The “All For One More Dollar” Award — Worst Front Office Achievement

JPN – Everything Else.

AP – That C.J. Sapong trade has aged like fine milk.

CB – There was an actual fire alarm that went off because of too much pre-game pyro. Usually people wait until the 80th minute to practice fire drills – which involves leaving the stadium completely, getting in their cars and going home.

AH – We can start by making the Reds red.

TK – It was inevitable – not signing Richie Laryea on a permanent deal from Nottingham Forest.
